EACC Possible Power Outage Impacts  |  Wednesday, December 17

A warning sign indicating "HIGH WINDS," featuring a red diamond shape and stylized wind symbols.

As a result of a High Wind Warning and Xcel Energy’s possible Public Safety Power Shutoffs on Wednesday, December 17, access to some amenities at the Eaton Area Community Center may be limited. We are actively planning to keep the facility open to the greatest extent possible.

At this time, a power shutoff is only a possibility. If one does occur, we expect to remain open and will make every effort to keep as many areas and services available as possible, provided conditions remain safe.

Out of an abundance of caution, treadmills will not be available for use on December 17th beginning at 12pm. In addition, please note that if power is lost, the pool will be closed due to the inability to maintain required water filtration and safety standards. Other amenities may also be temporarily impacted.

Please check  this page for the most up-to-date information regarding operations or any potential closures.

Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.
